I went here late night last August but staff was very friendly.Food is fresh and made to order.every fries are the best in cleveland.

Food was good and service was great the atmosphere was laid back cant wait to go on jazz night.

Sweet Mom and Pop establishment.Fries were perfect, grits were good, fresh coffee/Cream&sugar fine.The gal who waited on us was kind and polite. Lovely jazz music was playing.This is sweet place. I’m sure the staff would have helped out anyone who bothered to ask and not just complain.

This was my very first time coming to this spot I have to say it wasn't bad at all. Drinks were flowing plenty people dancing to hip- hop and rap music. The bar tenders were very active with the customers and even dancing when their favorite song was on... lively atmosphere... the crowd was 85% black and I'm not... either way I didn't feel worried or like an odd ball.. Plenty of women to hit on witch was 3 women to 1 guy it felt like... I even met the boss lady and she gave me a free shot for my birthday.... I recommend this place!! I definitely will be going back!!

Absolutely delicious!! Stopped in with my gf and ordered the O. G. Big Breakfast. Everything was on point!! I don't think there's anything on the menu I wouldn't try and love!!

My husband & I wanted to find & support small black owned businesses in Cleveland. I’m so glad we stumbled upon The Original Grill! It’s basically a bar & grill but it seemed there were more people coming in for carry out than anything the majority of the time we were there. I asked a few patrons for recommendations since we aren’t from Cleveland & they told us the wings are a must, as well as the loaded potatoes. We ordered the loaded chicken potato with bacon & the wings tossed in lemon pepper honey sauce. The wings came with hand cut fries like you’d make at home. The sauce on the wings was SUPERB & my dish, the loaded chicken potato was PHENOMENAL! I didn’t even need sour cream or ranch with it. We also ordered a few cookies & brownies they were selling from another small business owner. Everything was great! By the time we were heading out, a crowd had started forming. Looked to be a down to earth mid-aged crowd of black professionals. If we’re ever in the city again, we’ll be back!

So far ive tried the breakfast sandwiches, home fries and the shrimp rice. I must say not being from here it's hard to find good seasoned food. Its under renovation but for the better. Its worth a try and why not support are own.
